The Social Network has impact...

Thinking about The Social Network after reading a Wiki about the reviews of it.

I'm not exactly sure that it's a real biography so much as a story that out frames larger themes involving the follies of the Post-industrial, Web 2.0, Capitalist world. In how that it almost seems to make wants out of our worst flaws of avarice and then reificates them. The movie, days after I watched still has a profound affect on my thinking.

This being said, with how negative the 2000s turned out, it just makes me feel downtrodden that my generation as a whole may only turn out to be as hopelessly bound to the crap that held back other generations.
